We know you’re brimming with questions about your stay at WildLuing, so we’ve popped the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions all in the one handy space for you to browse at your leisure. Where is WildLuing? WildLuing is on the Isle of Luing, that means there’s a ferry between us and the mainland. Head to our Stay page for specific directions for how to find us.

How do we get to there? The beautiful coastal town of Oban is 17 miles north. Oban’s a handy travel hub with rail, bus and air links to central regions. A bus service provides onward travel to Cuan Ferry.

What happens if we miss the ferry? Make sure you check the ferry timings using the link above. The ferry runs regularly throughout the day with final sailings clearly marked on the timetable above.

What do we do on Luing, is there a pub? There isn’t a pub on Luing but there is a huge amount else to do! Head over to our Explore page to find out how to fill your day and nights.

Will it be rainy? In our part of the world, the one guarantee we are able to offer is that we cannot guarantee the weather. If you want to get the most out of our stunning scenery, it’s a good idea to dress accordingly - throw some good boots and waterproofs in, you’ll be glad you did if you do need to use them! The WildLuing site itself is well pathed with full accessibility provision.

What public transport connections are there to WildLuing? There is a regular bus service operated by West Coast Motors from Oban, you can find a timetable at this link: Cuan Ferry/Ellenabeich Bus Timetable. WidlLuing is an easy 1.5 mile walk or cycle from the ferry.

Are dogs allowed at WildLuing? Yes! - WildWoofs are very welcome! - each WildSuite can take one dog with a surcharge of £20/night. Just include when booking.

Do you have any dog-free suites? Yes - Fladda and Losal are dog-free suites.
